Zentune offers a custom DSG Remapping service designed to remove these limitations and enhance the driving experience, particularly for those with a performance-oriented mindset.

Custom DSG Remap

Zentune’s custom DSG Remapping service allows you to offer the following enhancements to your customers:

-       Increased Torque Limiter When Remapping the engine management system, torque limiters are often increased. However, if the vehicle has a DSG gearbox, the engine’s output may still be restricted by the torque limiter in the DSG module. Our Remap raises the DSG torque limiter to match the engine’s torque output, ensuring the vehicle’s full potential is unlocked.

-       Quicker Shift Speeds We can increase shift speeds by up to 20%, reducing lag and improving acceleration. Faster shift speeds also result in smoother transitions between gears and a more responsive paddle shift, enhancing the overall driving experience.

-       RPM Limits & Shift Set Points We adjust RPM limits and shift set points in both drive and sports modes. Simply increasing the RPM limiter in the engine ECU Remap is not sufficient for DSG equipped vehicles, as the DSG ECU ultimately controls the gear shift timing. Our Remap ensures these settings are optimized for maximum performance.

-       Launch Control For specific models, we can activate launch control, allowing your customers to achieve the perfect launch every time. This feature not only reduces the 0-100 km/h time but also significantly boosts the fun factor.

-       Full Manual Mode In stock DSG software, even when in manual mode, the gearbox may still force automatic gear changes, such as shifting up or kicking down. With our custom DSG Remap, we can give your customers full control by preventing these automatic changes when in manual mode, allowing for a truly manual driving experience (model-specific).
